This is my submission for the ~Space-Artists "Edge of the Universe" pack. Hope you enjoy it, it actually took me a fair while to do.
Aurora II is not based on this at all. They look similar, but check details and you will notice the differences.

Layers: around 230, about 150 for the galaxy alone. It was really a pain in the ass to make, so enjoy it!!
